Meet Freddie – The Man Behind Creative Visions
Freddie Herring Jr. was born in California and raised in Denver from the age of two, where his love for cars was sparked by his stepdad, a mechanic, and his father, a hot rod enthusiast. At 19, he attended trade school for paint and bodywork, beginning a career that’s spanned nearly 40 years. He spent 15 years at Sill-TerHar Motors doing collision and custom paint work, while building hot rods on the side and perfecting his signature buffing and paint techniques.
In 2006, Freddie founded Creative Visions, turning his passion into a full-time business. Since then, he’s completed countless restorations and hot rod builds—from partial repairs to full ground-up projects. His work, known for its craftsmanship and creativity, has been featured in car shows and on TV. Today, Creative Visions is a true family-run shop, with his sons, daughter-in-law, and wife all involved in the business.
Freddie still leads with a hands-on approach, treating every project as an opportunity to create something exceptional. For him, it’s about more than just cars—it’s about the people who drive them.
